My next laptop is going to most likely run linux mint, however my fix for having my usual windows apps work that won't on linux is to use a vm

hokay i think i will try linux mint... i'll probably do a dual-booting situation since my art program isn't compatible but we'll have 2 see how things go!

made my own custom profile border thing, it's the scoreboard from LittleBigPlanet. Made it using a screenshot of the LBP2 one I found on Google Images and overlaying the cardboard texture on it while also making the proportions fit the template. There's this one and an alt with the glass texture on the screen, you can get em for 5 whatever these points are called.

yes but there's some disadvantages to that, with a modpack like this for the modern versions it's a lot easier to customize it plus i get to use most of the modern content.
