i'm not an expert at all when it comes to this but usually for posing (with or without reference) i try to follow a line of action or two. it helps with forming the pose in my experience at least.
as for anatomy it depends on what part you want to focus on but here's a tip i found helpful in recent months: think of the upper back/torso kind of like a poncho when drawing it, the front and back are both somewhat visible from a lot of angles. (not sure how to phrase it properly but y'know)
